In this work, the artist presents a critical and insightful examination of the heroes in today’s culture and the direction that society is taking, while reflecting on the significance placed on industries, commercialization, and above all, money.

Superman, the embodiment of goodness, humility, and compassion, the ultimate hero, casts a penetrating gaze directly at the viewer, while being portrayed in a pose so closely associated with him, transitioning from the humble and unassuming character of Clark Kent to the greatest hero of all. However, instead of revealing the “S” emblematic of hope, the work exposes the symbol of wealth and progress – Bitcoin, the new hero of modern times.

In the foreground of the piece, the future generation looks at the hero with a mix of admiration and uncertainty, questioning their own future. On one hand, they don the cloak of the hero, but his symbol is once again replaced with that of money, and yet, at the same time, they are depicted in the act of erasing the character, thus creating a moment of narrative change.

The merging of commercialization and industry is further emphasized through the materials employed by the children, who carry symbols of industrialization and modernity that the artist echoes throughout the work. Original artwork, aluminium based, mixed media
